About Us
Our Mission
Little Tusks ABA’s mission is to enhance the lives of children with autism through evidence-based treatment provided in a dynamic environment built for learning and exploration.
Children learn best through play, which means that acquiring new skills should be a fun and rewarding experience. This understanding, along with a recognition that the journey to one’s full potential is different for every individual, guides our approach to therapy. Through personalized and compassionate care, we are dedicated to fully supporting your child along the path to success.
Our Values
We cherish the uniqueness of each individual and believe that every person should be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. At LTABA, you’ll find an inclusive, team-based approach to therapy, one that values the role of family and community on a child’s development. We believe in our responsibility to deliver objective, meaningful, and socially significant results through evidence-based treatment.
Why the name Little Tusks?
Little Tusks came to fruition based on the concept of Elephant’s ability to memorize where watering holes were across miles and miles of Safari land. What Sebastian wants to impart is that we want families to be able to look back and cherish the memories of all the strides that your “little tusk” made in their time with us. We want you to feel comfortable and safe in our hands as we lead you and your families to gentler lives and that “oasis” that families seek when they begin their journey of ABA.
Meet the Founder
Little Tusks ABA was created as a result of Sebastian’s lifelong passion for helping young children develop in an ethical, effective, and collaborative manner. Sebastian has been serving children with special needs since he was a teenager, setting up sensory rooms for his mother, Pilar, who has worked in the Broward County School system (FL) for 20 years. His roles have included: Registered Behavior Technician, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Clinical Director, and now Founder.
Sebastian’s experience spans a wide array of settings, including in-home services, in-clinic settings, and community settings and events. He has worked in traditional and Montessori classrooms; has developed curriculums for budding ABA programs, school readiness programs, and programs for Bilingual Spanish students. LTABA reflects Sebastian’s devotion to serving individuals in his state of Colorado and ensuring that children have access to these essential services.
